With the launch of our Air Lift E30 threaded body kit this month we thought we would showcase one of our favorite E30s builds of this year.
Kae’s car goes against the grain and uses a 4 door E30 as a base, which makes a refreshing change from the the more popular 2 door variants. This particular car is a 1991 vintage with 318i trim, but you may have noticed it has some rather special period accessories…
Up front an Alpina front bumper ties in perfectly with the Alpina trunk wing and gives the 3 series a retro twist. The front bumper, when coupled with the Air Lift Performance air ride kit, gives the car a hell of a presence on the road.
Inside Kae has kept it retro with a custom pair of Cobra ‘classic’ seats. Back outside CAtuned blackout side markers and blinkers and black 17 x 8 Drag Fortrans wheels add to the mean and moody appeal.
