SPOTLIGHT: Connor Butterfield's 6R Polo

We're a huge fans of modified hatchbacks at Air Lift Performance.

When the familiar shape of a hatchback is stretched and shaped into the specific vision of the owner, it just takes on a whole new life.

One car that springs to mind is Connor Butterfield's 6R Polo. It's been pushed to the extremes in all directions, yet still works as one cohesive design. We love how the wheel fitment accentuates the way the Polo body line rolls in from the waist towards the roof – just the right amount of camber.

Outside, he's deleted pretty much any trace of color, opting for tinted monochrome rear lights and fully polished Gotti wheels to compliment the grey paint.

In the trunk, a polished tank and compressor continues the theme.

Connor has opted for Air Lift Performance 3P management to control the height at the touch of a button via the controller, or on his phone with the Air Lift Performance 3 app.

Butterscotch Recaro CS seats inject a little color and luxury into the interior, coupled with a Momo Team wheel. It's a long way from the way this Polo would have left the factor and really elevates it beyond the comfort levels of the larger Golf platform.
