When it comes to stance few cars look quite as cool as the B8-platform Audi A4. With sleek Euro styling and sporty handling from the factory, the B8 A4 is a hugely popular choice right now making it the perfect model for an Air Lift Performance suspension kit!
The clue is in the name – Air Lift Performance suspension allows you to get the lowered look without compromising its drivability, as well as hugely improving the car’s handling when driven hard! Gone are the days of harsh ride quality and scraping everywhere you go – with the simple push of a button you can raise your car up to 5.12-inches (front axle) and 5.9-inches (rear axle) to clear just about any speed bump and driveway. Ready to ride it low? Tap another button and your Audi now has a super-cool lowered stance. With loads of wheel travel (130mm front / 150mm rear) and ample damping, ride quality is excellent!
Up front the B8 air suspension kit features double bellow bags with our mono-tube, 30-way adjustable threaded body shock. Our threaded body shock technology allows you to adjust the height of the lower mount to fine-tune the overall height of the car, while the 30-way damping allows you to setup your handling to suit any driving condition.
In the rear a set of Air Lift 2B6 air springs replace the factory coils allowing the rear wheels to tuck into the wheel arches. To compliment the performance-tuned front shocks, another pair of mono-tube, 30-way adjustable threaded shocks are used allowing similar damping adjustment – not to mention a total drop of almost six inches!
Installation is super simple with Air Lift Performance’s detailed instruction manuals. Anyone with the skill to wire a stereo and swap suspension components can have their car on the ground in a matter of hours. Only basic hand tools are necessary to complete the job. Keep in mind if you are looking for the ultimate low look, then some frame modifications and fabrication skill will be required.
