Limited Warranty
1. Air Lift's new Warranty policy is live or posted as of 4/13/2026
2. Sales from 3rd party marketplace sellers other than Air Lift are not covered under warranty.
THIS LIMITED WARRANTY is provided by AIR LIFT COMPANY (“Air Lift”), with an address of 2727 Snow Road, Lansing, Michigan 48917 USA.
Air Lift provides this Limited Warranty to the original consumer purchaser (“you” or “your”) for Performance products manufactured by Air Lift (each, a “Product” and collectively the “Products”). This Limited Warranty is not transferable. (Note: This Limited Warranty does not apply to Air Lift load support products, which have their limited warranty here: https://www.airliftcompany.com/support/warranty).
What this limited warranty covers
Air Lift warrants to you that each Product will, during the applicable Warranty Period specified below, be free from defects in workmanship and materials when properly installed and used on cars and trucks as specified by Air Lift and under normal operating conditions, subject to the requirements and exclusions set forth below.
How long does the warranty coverage last
The warranty period for each Product begins on the date of your purchase and continues for the applicable warranty periods specified in the table below (each, a “Warranty Period”). All implied warranties that are applicable to a Product shall apply only for the applicable Warranty Period. Some States do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, so the above limitation may not apply to you.
Product | Warranty Period |
|---|---|
Air management, control systems and height sensor kits | 2 years |
Manual Air Management and Compressor/Air Tank Kits | 1 year |
Air Suspension Kits | 2 years |
Coilover Kits | 1 year |
Coil to Air Upgrade Kits | 2 years (excluding the damper) |
Individual Air Bags | 1 year |
Individual Compressors | 90 days |
All other parts, pieces, and accessories | 90 days |
The Warranty Period will terminate automatically, and there will be no warranty coverage, if you sell or otherwise transfer the Product or the vehicle on which the Product is installed.
For Products purchased before April 13, 2026: If the Air Lift product manual or assembly guide that you received when you purchased your Product specifies different warranty terms (such as a longer warranty period than the Warranty Period stated in the table above), then Air Lift will honor such warranty terms.
What Air Lift will do
If you submit a warranty claim for a Product to Air Lift during the applicable Warranty Period and if Air Lift determines that such Product is defective, then Air Lift will at its option either (i) repair your Air Lift Product, or (ii) furnish you with a new or rebuilt Product. Outside the United States, Air Lift may use a third party to fulfill some or all of its obligations in the preceding sentence (for example, outside the United States, Air Lift’s distributor or other third party may ship the repaired Product or replacement Product to you). Regardless of whether Air Lift or a third party does the shipping, you are responsible for all shipping and other costs as indicated below. When the repaired Product or replacement Product is returned to you, it will be covered under the warranty for the balance of the applicable Warranty Period, if any. When a Product or part is replaced, any replacement item becomes your property and the replaced item becomes property of Air Lift.
What this warranty does not cover
You are responsible for the shipping costs to return the Product to Air Lift, and you are also responsible for all costs (shipping, duties, taxes, handling charges and any other charges) for the repaired or replacement Product to be sent to you. You are responsible for installation, reinstallation and all labor.
Air Lift will not reimburse you for repairs or replacement parts provided by other parties.
This warranty does not apply to the following:
- Ordinary wear and tear or other impacts due to the normal aging of the Product
- Any Product purchased from an online third-party marketplace (including without limitation Amazon Marketplace, Walmart Marketplace, eBay or other third-party selling platforms) where Air Lift is not the seller of record.
- Any Product that is not purchased either directly from Air Lift or from an authorized Air Lift dealer.
- Any Product that has been improperly applied, improperly installed, or which has not been maintained in accordance with installation instructions that are furnished by Air Lift.
- Consumable parts, such as batteries; cosmetic damage, including but not limited to scratches or dents; or if any serial or identification number has been removed or defaced from the Product.
- Any Product that is damaged by accident, abuse, misuse (including but not limited to racing or off-road activities or commercial use), abnormal use, faulty installation, liquid contact, improper storage, harsh chemicals, dry rot from extreme environments (very hot, dry climates or extreme cold), fire, earthquake or other external cause.
- Any Product that was installed in a manner that did not comply with Air Lift’s installation guides or any Product that was operated in a manner that does not comply with Air Lift’s instruction manuals.
- Any Product damaged due to service, alteration, maintenance or repairs performed by anyone other than Air Lift.
How to claim a warranty defect
If a defect in workmanship or materials causes your Air Lift Product to become inoperable within the applicable Warranty Period, then you must do the following during the applicable Warranty Period:
- Purchases in United States and Canada: If you purchased your Product in the United States or Canada, then before returning any Product that you believe is defective, call Air Lift at (800) 248-0892 to obtain a Returned Materials Authorization (RMA) number. You are responsible for removing such Product from the vehicle and returning it, shipping costs prepaid, to Air Lift for determination of whether such Product is defective. Returns must be sent to: Air Lift Company • Attn: Warranty Department • 2727 Snow Road • Lansing, MI • 48917 USA. You must prove to the satisfaction of Air Lift the date of original purchase of the Product you are returning. You must also enclose the RMA number and a return address. You must also pack such Product to minimize the risk of it being damage during shipment. If Air Lift receives a Product that was damaged during shipment, Air Lift will notify you and you have the responsibility of pursuing a claim with the shipper.
- Purchases Outside of United States/Canada. If you purchased your Product outside of the United States and Canada, then to make a warranty claim you must follow the procedures for your specific country that are described here: https://www.airliftperformance.com/support/warranty/international.
