There’s not much that’s more sinister than a black on black BMW F80 M3. Except, perhaps, one that’s black-on-black and sits a full 4.4 inches lower than stock… That could be an improvement!

With an incredibly low ride height, Ben’s M3 was an attention-grabbing addition to the Wörthersee convoy.

It’s no slouch – with an Autobahn crushing 540bhp engine, it’s modified with HEX Tuning software featuring GTS burbles and pops. All that, plus a full CSF Radiators cooling package, including their awesome top mount charge cooler (finished in all black, of course), and the M3 is complete.

Unfortunately frequent 180mph+ ‘bahnstorming took its toll on the freshly fitted M-Performance front splitter, not that it affected Ben’s grin during the trip.

Weaving through the alpine mountains of the Gloßglockner, the Air Lift Performance threaded body struts coupled with Air Lift Performance 3P management proved to be the perfect way to enjoy the intense turbocharged power plant.

Externally Ben has added black competition pack badging and grille elements, black tailpipes and of course those huge 20″ Rotiform KPS. We think he might like black… Just a hunch.

We can’t think of a better car to be in for a 2000+ mile trip to Wörthersee than a high-speed Autobahn cruiser.  And, when you arrive at the destination, all you have to do is simply drop the super saloon to the floor, all at the touch of a button.
