When it comes to air suspension, most people tend to think of being laid out at a show or throwing sparks down your favorite highway. While all of that is well and good, we decided to pack our helmets, a few company vehicles and a several local ALP customers and hit the track to prove what can be done on Air Lift Performance air suspension. By the way yes I said TRACK. When I say track I mean a real road course, something that takes a vehicle that handles like it is on rails. Exactly why we brought vehicles on air….

On a balmy Michigan morning we headed southwest from ALP headquarters to Gingerman Raceway in South Haven complete with the crew from AWOL.TV to capture the madness. Gingerman is a fast 11 turn, 2.14 mile long road course, which can make filming a little difficult. Our solution was to strap the AWOL guys and their video gear into a helicopter to get the best possible angles and some breath taking views of all the action.
With 14 vehicles in attendance, we were not lacking for a wide variety of bagged car goodness. When you have everything from a luxurious Lexus LS430 to a heavily modded Camaro, things can get pretty crazy on the track. With the fearless guys from AWOL hanging out the side of the chopper, we put these bagged rides through their paces to come up with some killer video footage.
