So you may think everyone here at Air Lift Performance just sits in a comfy office chair designing some of the most advanced air suspension systems in the world day in and day out.  While for the most part this is true, we do like to get out of the office and hit the track!  So we loaded up our BMW E39, Subaru STi and our Mustang GT and headed for Gingerman raceway in southern Michigan.  Not only was it nice to get out and get some fresh air, we were able to collect a lot of data to help us provide our customers with suspensions that perform on and off the track.

AutoPilot v2
Air Lift is proud to introduce the most advanced pressure based air suspension control on the planet!
The sleek V2 controller is protected in a rugged, rubberized coating to help protect against the occasional drops and scratches. Display readout shows, individual corner air pressure and tank pressure. You can select your pressures to be displayed in PSI, or for our friends across the pond, we now have an option for BAR!! To give you the ultimate in personalization of your system we have loaded the multi-color display with 512 color combinations! Believe it or not all of this technology fits in the palm of your hand and only takes one wire to connect to your wire harness.
Not only does the V2 give you 8 different presets to tailor to your ride heights needs, but it also “learns” your vehicle to provide incredible accuracy with every push of the button. As you roll low, the V2 will constantly monitor your pressures and adjust accordingly to your presets.  V2 also allows you to control your system manually, for the ultimate in independent 4 corner adjustment.    With the raise on start feature, you won’t even have to touch the controller! Fully laid out? Raise to your ride height as soon as you turn on your ride and you’re ready to go.
You want diagnostics? Well V2 has diagnostics! With a touch of a button you can check compressor performance and compressor run times. The system will also alert you to a leak, a low pressure situation, communication failure or if there is something wrong with your valve.
Installation could not be easier! Mount your components, hook up 3 wires, plug in the OEM quality harness and you are ready to go. The detailed instruction manual will take you through the calibration and ride height preset process. Each V2 is 100% function and leak tested at the factory after assembly, so you can cruise the streets in confidence!
One of the best features of the Air Lift Performance Auto Pilot V2 is that it is proudly made in the United States of America!

Pitch Black
We have all been outside on a night with no moon, no stars, or lights for miles and miles…. You know the kind of night, it is so black outside you cannot see your hand in front of your face. Well I have stumbled on a ride that makes that kind of black look just plain silly. Â I came across Bryan’s 2011 SS/RS on Camaro5 forum and was immediately stopped in my tracks, between the ground crushing stance and the overall attitude of the car, I had to find out more!
2012 Let’s hope the Mayans are wrong!
So the holidays are finally over and hopefully you are no longer writing 2011 on everything, like I still am! Â Everyone here at Air Lift Performance is extremely excited about 2012, not only is the Auto Pilot V2 getting ready to kick off but with a new year comes other cool new products.

No kids, I am not talking about the Alien Ant Farm song or the original MJ version, I am talking about Rich Fogarty’s 2007 VW GTI.
Snake in the grass
Ford built an awesome car when they designed the S-197 Mustang….  Carroll Shelby refined it……. Our buddy Nate made his U-N-B-E-L-I-E-V-A-B-L-E!!!!!  As if the Shelby GT 500 was not enough, Nate decided to go with the Air Lift Performance suspension for dramatically improved performance handling characteristics and the ability of  getting in and out of his driveway without scraping his prized ride.
This snake slithers on 20 inch Alcoa’s wrapped in Nitto rubber, 255/35/20 up front and 275/35/20 in the rear.  Power has been enhanced by a 2.3L TVS supercharger with a 2.6″ pulley, Afco dual fan heat exchanger, MHR Tank, a full Shelby KR exhaust and sports a VMP tune.  If you ever thought air suspension was not intended to handle power, Nate’s venomous Shelby blows that theory right out of the water.
